Gateway Fluid Power - Hydraulic cylinder design, based on the application, not based totally on cost.
- Hydraulic cylinders/components should be evaluated, researched
and or engineered, based on the application preceding the
manufacturing or assembly process.
- This concept applies to all hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic
system components.
- A hydraulic cylinder (also called a linear hydraulic
motor) designed for pulling or pushing a load should
not be used in a lifting or raising application. A
hydraulic cylinder should only be used for the purpose
it was engineered for!
- There are a wide range of variables that need to be considered
before implementation of any hydraulic system or hydraulic
component.
